2012-07-07 Woman of Few-ish Words

Just in case you've seen all the rest in the newsletter (cos these things are often nearly the same...meaning newsletter subscribers read it first...), here's a little happy thought that's new as of Friday night. We've just had the sort of rocktastic practice that tells us Jon is ready for gigs. Even got his bass sorted for a new song. Which means that, as soon as I post this, I'll start booking shows. Get excited, cos we can't wait to see you again!

I know, I know. You're used to me going on and on. And the last blog was a bit on the long side, wasn't it? But it feels like a shorter sort of blog month. Let's see what happens, shall we?

I've been doing plenty of talking online, and maybe that's part of why this can stay short(er). If you've been following along, you know that I've posted a couple blog entries on my personal blog again during the last month, in addition to the usual blog and vlog action. (If you missed any of that, you can always check out the list of what's new on the home page.) I've also been trying to hang out a bit with folks on Twitter, Facebook, that sort of thing.

So, what else has been going on, aside from the blogs? We've been working on getting our new bassist ready to roll, I've been working on my own skills and ideas for musical goodness, and we've generally just been working away. Progress ain't all glamour and glitz, lovelies.

Would love to hear from you...Come talk to me on Twitter or Facebook, drop me a request for content (I've been all about fulfilling your requests lately), draw me a picture...Turns out this stuff is more fun if you're talking to me. Who knew?

I think that's it. Sometimes, you just have to work your tail off (with occasional breaks to pet the cat) and get things done, even if it doesn't make for fun stories in the short-term, non? But drop me a comment or a tweet and be one of my little breaks. That would be lovely.

...No, wait...One more thing:

Facebook Hates Our Relationship

Seems that Facebook has made some changes and there's a chance you're not seeing our Facebook posts in your feed. If that makes you sad, you've got some options:

  • Go to our Facebook page, hover over the Like button, and (when the little menu pops up) select Show in News Feed. No guarantees, but we hear that will help.
  • Follow us on Twitter, where I try to make sure the important bits sneak in along with whatever else I'm chatting about.
  • Add us on Google+, where I'm updating that page whenever I update the Facebook one.
  • Tell me where else you're paying attention and want us to start talking. I'll see what I can sort out...

Already a Facebook fan but want more? Follow us on Twitter!
